Why USDT P2P rates differ from country to country
USDT is meant to track the US dollar, but on P2P markets the price is set by the people trading it. Where dollars are hard to get through banks, buyers are willing to pay more for USDT, and the P2P rate sits above the official rate. Where many people want to cash out, the rate can fall below it. The gap in the last column shows how strong that pull is in each market right now.
Buy price vs sell price
The buy price is what sellers ask when you buy USDT. The sell price is what buyers offer when you sell. Each figure is the median of the top 10 ads on every platform, combined across platforms, so one unusual ad does not distort it.
